Rem. Attesté uniquement ds GUÉRIN 1892.
Prononc. :[] Étymol. et Hist. 1. Début XIVe s. karissime superl. « très cher » (AIMÉ, Yst. de li Norm., VII, 8, Champollion ds GDF.); av. 1525 carissime (CRÉTIN, A François Charbonnier, p. 223 ds HUG.), attest. isolée; 2. à nouveau au XXe s. supra. 1 empr. au lat. carissimus superl. du lat. carus « cher » (TLL s.v., 504, 505); 2 est prob. un emprunt à l'esp. carisimo, attesté dep. début XVIIe s. (Gongora d'apr. AL.), superl. de caro « cher ».
